Exploring, celebrating and crying over onions (literally!)

Hey everyone!

It’s your girl Gurpreet, and I’m back with another blog post full of good vibes, exciting moments, and some laugh-out-loud memories I just had to share with you.

I went on a little adventure to Surrey, Woking Horsell, and it was honestly such a good day. We left super early in the morning ( Indian tea  was a must!) so we could make the most of the day. Our first stop was an art museum, and I loved every second of it. I walked around  in all the beautiful paintings πŸ–Ό️ and sculptures. Of course, I had to take some photos can’t go anywhere artsy without capturing the vibes!

After soaking up all that creativity, we headed to this really posh and elegant restaurant in Woking. The food was chef-level amazing, and the atmosphere was 10/10. What I wasn’t expecting though… was a surprise congratulations cake 🍰!

It was to celebrate my Doner accepting me, and I honestly felt so emotional and speechless it meant a lot. Before the cake, we toasted with some mocktails to celebrate the moment. Such a beautiful memory.

We also checked out the gift shop, which was full of cute things and colourful flowers so  pretty! After a full day of walking, laughing, eating, and celebrating, we headed home and just relaxed.

Now, if you know me, you know I’m not into scary, gory stuff but guess what? I decided to challenge myself and watch Final Destination: Bloodline with my mum. πŸ˜… I tried to act brave… but I jumped at one of the scary parts and ended up knocking the nachos on the floor! 😱

Thankfully, not all of them were gone. My mum was laughing so hard we  both were! Honestly, I survived the movie, just about. πŸ˜‚

but just A little while later, I had another day out this time with my cousin and a friend in Lymington, Hampshire. We explored the New Forest area and stopped at a cosy Italian restaurant. The food and service were on point. After that, we visited the lighthouse and took a walk along the Lymington shore. It had such calm, good vibes. We clinked our mocktails and took loads of pics definitely a memory I’ll hold onto.

And finally… let me tell you about this hilarious moment at Coriander Lounge with my family. The food was amazing and the place had such a nice vibe. But the funny part? We came out of the toilets and the chefs had just started cooking with really strong onions. We weren’t even close to the kitchen but our eyes started watering like we were crying at a sad film. 😹

We all looked at each other and just burst out laughing πŸ˜† total banter These past few months have been filled with good energy, love, family, and trying new things (even horror movies!). I’ve learned that the best moments often come when you’re not expecting them like a surprise cake or crying over onions with your family.

Thanks for reading and coming along this journey with me. I’m excited for more memories, more laughs, and more blog posts to share with you Love always,

Gurpreet Kaur πŸ’–

P.S. If you’re going to watch scary films, keep your snacks safe! πŸ˜‰
