Some birthdays feel ordinary… and then there are the ones that wrap you in magic from the moment they begin. This year, mine felt like stepping into a world of sparkle, festive joy, and pure love — the kind of birthday that stays with you long after the candles go out.




👸 A Royal Start at the Winchester Royal Hotel


My birthday began with a beautiful festive afternoon tea at the Winchester Royal Hotel, joined by my two cousin-sisters. The hotel looked elegant and cosy the perfect setting for a celebration.


Our afternoon tea included:

• 🥪 Brie & chutney sandwiches

• 🥚 Egg mayonnaise sandwiches

• ✨ A selection of festive treats:

• Mini mince pies

• Mini Victoria sponge cakes 🧁

• Mini red velvet cakes 🧁

• Cranberry scones with whipped cream Jam 

 • Gingerbread tea ☕️ (warm, sweet, perfect for winter)

We even pulled Christmas 🎄 crackers, shared silly 😜 Jokes and laughed 🤣 until our sides ached.

After finishing our afternoon tea we headed out to explore more festive city 


After our cosy afternoon tea, we made our way to the Winchester German Market 🇩🇪 — a place that felt alive the moment we stepped in.


A cheerful vendor was stirring a huge steaming pot of mulled wine 🍷, and the warm, spiced aroma drifted through the air, wrapping everyone in that classic Christmas feeling. The sound of sizzling food, gentle festive music, and the hum of excited voices blended together perfectly.


The market itself was full of festive charm  wooden stalls decorated with glowing lights, delicious smells coming from every direction, and little holiday touches that made the whole place feel like a mini Christmas world. Whether it was the sparkle of a decoration or the smell of something delicious cooking, a new moment always pulled you in.


Walking through it all felt warm, fun, and festive the kind of atmosphere that instantly lifts your mood and makes the whole day feel extra special.

 🍽️ A Heartwarming Evening with Family


In the evening, I went out for a birthday meal with my mum, my brother, and my mum’s friend. The food was amazing, but the moment that truly touched my heart was when my mum surprised me with a warm chocolate fondant — complete with a candle. 🍫🕯️


I wasn’t expecting it, and it made the moment emotional and extra special. I closed my eyes, made a wish, and felt incredibly grateful for the love around me ❤️
